Quality Assurance and Control Technician

The Quality Assurance and Control Technician will be responsible for maintaining quality standards set forth by OEM specifications, CWB and The Bucket Shop by monitoring and approving in-process production, finished products, and recording the results. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to oversee and assign the required training for staff in production methods, weld policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the job requirements listed below and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Requirements

• Possess a college diploma in a Welding Techniques or Welding Engineering Technician or any program acceptable to the employer.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a Quality Assurance and Control Technician capacity.
• CWB Welding Supervisor Certificate is highly valued and considered an asset.
• Previous experience administering, tracking and assigning training.

Shop Coordinator

The Shop Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Production Manager with all components involved in the production process. You will monitor welding processes performed by the shop and assist at ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency throughout the entire production process. The Shop Coordinator will work in conjunction with team leads in planning, scheduling, and assigning work to the shop crew. The coordinator is responsible for the efficient use of labour, machines, and materials by their crews, and will report on such things as costs and safety. The Coordinator will support and promote all required safety and work regulation policies.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, welding process specifications, field drawings and plans.
• An understanding of the welding trade.
• Experience with routine maintenance operations
• Effectiveness in the areas of welding safety and productivity

Technical Outside Sales Representative for our Northwestern Ontario territory

The Bucket Shop Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated full time Technical Outside Sales Representative for our Northwestern Ontario territory.

The Technical Sales Representative is the primary point of contact in establishing and maintaining working relationships through a designated territory and account list. The primary responsibility is to develop solutions that resolve customer issues. The resulting benefits are achieved through effective territory and account management of new and existing customers. Frequent travel will be required. Experience with various mining properties including an understanding of mobile assets and mill environments is an asset.

Field Welder

The Bucket Shop is a Timmins, Ontario based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility and is the exclusive Canadian distributor for Rhinowear Wear Products. Our field team, also known as Steeltec, has been deployed across Northern Ontario, and remote parts of Canada, to fulfill projects including welding and millwright services.

The Bucket Shop is growing again! We are in search for Field Welders, who will be responsible for welding, service & repair, prototype building and fitting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience welding, direct in experience working in a field environment is required
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Willingness and ability to travel to remote locations (company vehicle provided)
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations, especially in mine and mill environments
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure

Field Millwright

The Millwright is responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools (supplied by employee), power tools, machinery and equipment (supplied by The Bucket Shop Inc). This position also requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Millwright is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.

KEY TASKS & DUTIES:
• Inspect machinery as it arrives, unload the parts, and then assemble them with the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
• Relocate unassembled equipment as it arrives, positioning the machinery and pieces that need to be assembled, using hoists, dollies, and trucks.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures.
• Welding tickets an asset

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment
• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Able to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine  setup, maintenance, or overhaul.
• 3+ Years of Experience
